PSJ Institute of Professional Studies (PSJIPS) has been established as a centre for aviation, media (film and TV) and IT (AI/ML and data science) studies, providing “vocational education and skill development” in the country as well as to Asia-Pacific, Middle East and African regions. The institute is focused on providing a first-grade and world-class professional educational programme on aviation, media (film and TV) and IT (AI/ML and data science) management to regular classroom students who want to study. The institute would be focusing on the core areas of airlines, airports, air navigation and surveillance, aviation law, regulation, aviation safety, air cargo logistics, AI in aviation operations, film and TV production, visual communication, digital cinematography, editing, sound engineering, direction and acting, AI in film-making, AI & ML and data science management. The key objectives of PSJIPS are:
- To develop professional education and skill development in aviation, media and IT management.
- To provide industry-prepared holistic professional managers per excellence and add value to them, where they work, as well as to the country.
- To undertake and promote skill development programmes in aviation, media and IT-related subjects.
- To establish and maintain a research centre, information centre, websites, databases, and reference library in pursuance of the objects of the trust and to encourage researchers from other institutions and universities to use these facilities.
- To conduct international conferences and seminars on aviation, media and IT-related topics.
- To promote students from rural areas in the development of professional and skill management courses for accessing better employment opportunities.
